1. Introduction

The TC06-70ZEH/01 air conditioner is a full automation temperature control product. It uses intelligent controller to control the whole system of the air conditioner. According to the variation of environment temperature, the intelligent controller can automatically detect, operate and record the whole system’s operating time, power consumption, event and historical data. It can store 100 event records and 1280 historical data records, and can enquire 256 days’ daily record information. The product is widely applied in telecom cabinet, small and medium sized telecom room, UPS room, outdoor base station room, etc.

6. Installation and Electrical Wiring

6.1 Preparation Before Installation
(1) Prepare the tools in the following table “Installation And Maintenance Tools”.
(2)Check the air vents to ensure there’s no unnecessary items on the vents.
6.2 Installation And Maintenance Tools

6.3 Installation Steps
(1)Make sure the air conditioner is not connected with power.
(2)Fix the air conditioner according to the Dimension Diagram.
(3)Strip the insulation of the power supply wire, and crimp the terminal.
(4)Connect the wires according to the Electrical Wring Diagram.
(5)After finishing the wiring, use the multimeter to check if the electric circuit is normal. Then connect the air conditioner with power supply, and use clamp meter to test the operating current.
Note: Make sure to disconnect all the power supply to the air conditioner before installation. Choose proper wire diameter and test operating current according to the technical parameters of the air conditioner.

7. After mechanical installation and electrical installation are finished, check the installation items.
(1)Make sure the air conditioner is firmly installed.
(2)Check the electrical installation circuit, and ensure it doesn’t have short circuit.
(3)Check the air outlet, air inlet, internal fan and external fan of the air conditioner, and ensure they don’t have any odds and ends.
(4) Connect the air conditioner to power supply, and test the power supply (voltage input: 48VDC±15%), operating current 3.5A±4%.

8.1 Application
ET872 thermostatic battery cabinet controller is a type of universal intelligent controller. It is controlled by highly integrated STC single chip microcomputer. It can intelligently control operating and hydrogen exhaust of thermostatic cabinet air conditioner, and can control a telecom room air conditioner. It have the following functions: fault self diagnosis, power on self start, restart after unexpected failures caused by other reasons.
The controller features perfect performance, easy and fast installation and setting, which is widely used in telecom cabinet, small and medium sized telecom room, UPS room, outdoor base station room, etc.
8.2 Main Technical Parameters

8.3 Operating Instruction
ET872 uses user-friendly interfaces, which can be operated easily. All the operations can be realized with four buttons. The following is the control board diagram:

8.3.1 Buttons
PgDn:page down button, confirm button.
Press once and release the button, page down;
A long press on the button, enter or exit parameter status;
At operating status: can select five display interfaces;
At parameter status: revise, confirm and parameter page down button; a long press on the button to exit parameter status.
▲:increasing parameter revision. Page down button for event query.
▼:decreasing parameter revision. Page up button for event query.
PgUp: page up button; the function is oppose to PgDn operation.
8.3.2 Indicators
When the air conditioner works normally, the Work indicator flashes at 2s frequency, showing it is working normally. When there is screen saver, the indicator can indicate the system is working normally.
When the system has alarm, the Alarm indicator will turn on, showing alarm occurs.
8.3.3 Operating Interfaces
The controller includes three working modes: operating mode, parameter mode, and query mode.
(1) Operating Mode:
The mode is normal working mode. There are five operating interfaces which can be selected. The five interfaces display different content. When they are not selected, the interfaces will automatically shift. Press the button “PgDn” to select next display interface; press the button “PgUp” to select the previous display interface.
Interface 1:
Line 1: temperature and humidity inside the thermostatic box (or area I);
Line 2: temperature and humidity inside communication room (or area II);
Diagram 4 is the first interface (main interface) of this mode.
Interface 2:
Line 1: control status indication. Separated by the sign “/”, the former is box air conditioner status: “OFF” means compressor and heater both stop; “30%-100%” means compressor output percentage; “¤” means heater are working; “♂” means hydrogen exhaust or direct ventilation. The latter is cabinet air conditioner status: “Off” means stop; the first “*” means cabinet air conditioner control; the second “*” or “>” is actual status, means the air conditioner is at cooling status; If it display “>”, it means the air conditioner only blow air.
Line 2: real time, manual/auto status. “Auto” means auto status, “Menu” means manual status.
At manual mode of this interface, press buttons “▲,▼” can manually increase or reduce control output of box air conditioner, and the control output of fan will increase or reduce synchronously.
Interface 3:
Display real rotational speed of inner fan and outer fan.
At manual mode of this interface, press buttons “▲,▼” can manually turn on/off control output of cabinet air conditioner.
Interface 4:
Display temperature of inner coil and outer coil.
At manual mode of this interface, press buttons “▲,▼” can manually turn on/off control output of hydrogen exhaust.
Interface 5:
Circularly display current alarms;
When multiple alarms occur, it will display each alarm information circularly.
(2)Parameter Mode:
At operating status, long press on the button ”PgDn” for around 3 seconds, or press the button ”PgUp” at interface 1, to enter parameter mode.The first entered interface is the main menu interface, see the following diagram.
Press the button “▲”, “▼” to choose corresponding parameter group; Press ”PgDn” to enter corresponding parameter group; Press ”PgUp” to return to operating mode. The parameters selection includes:

(b) Control Parameter Group (CPar):
Enter the interface to observe or revise the parameters which can be revised, see “8.3.4 Parameter Instruction”.
