1. Introduction And Application Scope

TC06-30JFH/01 Air Conditioner is a full automation temperature control product. It uses intelligent controller to control the whole system of the air conditioner. According to the variation of environment temperature, the intelligent controller can automatically detect, operate and record the whole system’s operating time, power consumption, event and historical data. It can store 100 event records and 1280 historical data records, and can enquire 256 days’ daily record information. The product is widely applied in telecom cabinet, small and medium sized telecom room, UPS room, outdoor base station room, etc.

6. Installation and Electrical Wiring Instruction

6.1 Preparation Before Installation
(1) Prepare the tools in the following table “Installation And Maintenance Tools”.
(2) Check the air vents to ensure there’s no unnecessary items on the vents.
6.2 Installation And Maintenance Tools

6.3 Installation Steps
(1)Make sure the air conditioner is not connected with power.
(2)Fix the air conditioner according to the Dimension Diagram.
(3)Strip the insulation of the power supply wire, and crimp the terminal.
(4)Connect the wires according to the Electrical Wring Diagram.
(5)After finishing the wiring, use the multimeter to check if the electric circuit is normal. Then connect the air conditioner with power supply, and use clamp meter to test the operating current.
Note: Make sure to disconnect all the power supply to the air conditioner before installation. Choose proper wire diameter and test operating current according to the technical parameters of the air conditioner.

7. After Mechanical Installation And Electrical Installation Are Finished, Check The Installation Items.
(1)Make sure the air conditioner is firmly installed.
(2)Check the electrical installation circuit, and ensure it doesn’t have short circuit.
(3)Check the air outlet, air inlet, internal fan and external fan of the air conditioner, and ensure they don’t have any odds and ends.
(4)Connect the air conditioner to power supply, and test the power supply (voltage input: 220VAC±15% 50/60Hz), operating current 0.8A±4%.
8. System Control
8.1 Function and Application
ET731 intelligent air conditioner controller is a universal intelligent controller, controlling with highly integrated STC SCM. It can intelligently control thermostatic cabinet air conditioner working and hydrogen exhausting, including functions such as fault self diagnosis, power-on self start, or restart after unexpected failure caused by other reasons. The controller is compatible with all types of air conditioners in the market.
The controller, with the features of advanced performance, easy installation and setting, are widely used in telecom cabinet, small and medium sized telecom room, UPS room, outdoor base station room, etc.

8.3 Operating Instruction
ET731 uses English interfaces, which can be operated easily. All the operations can be realized with four buttons. The following is the control board diagram:

8.3.1 Buttons
PgDn:page down button, confirm button.
Press once and release the button, page down;
A long press on the button, enter or exit parameter status;
At operating status: can select three display interfaces;
At parameter status: revise, confirm and parameter page down button; a long press on the button to exit parameter status.
▲:increasing parameter revision. Page down button for event query.
▼:decreasing parameter revision. Page up button for event query.
PgUp: page up button; the function is oppose to PgDn operation.
8.3.2 Operating Interfaces
The controller includes four types of working modes: operating mode, parameter mode, manual operating mode, and query mode.
(1) Operating Mode:
The mode is normal working mode. There are three operating interfaces which can be selected. The three interfaces display different content. When they are not selected, the interfaces will automatically shift. Press the button “PgDn” to select next display interface; press the button “PgUp” to select the previous display interface.
Interface 1:
Line 1: temperature and humidity inside the thermostatic box (or area I);
Line 2: box air conditioner status, real time clock;
※------- cooling start sign;
☼ ------- heating start sign;
♂ ------- hydrogen exhaust/direct ventilation sign;
-- ------- compressor/ heater stop working.
Interface 2:
Line 1: environment (or area II) temperature and humidity;
Line 2: inside and outside coil temperature display (T3, T4);
Interface 3:
Circularly display current alarms;
When multiple alarms occur, it will display each alarm information circularly.
(2)Parameter Mode:
At operating status, long press on the button”PgDn” for around 3 seconds, or press the button”PgUp” at interface 1, to enter parameter mode.The first entered interface is the main menu interface, see the following diagram.
Press the button “▲”, “▼” to choose corresponding parameter group; Press ”PgDn” to enter corresponding parameter group; Press ”PgUp” to return to operating mode. The parameters selection includes:
(a) Observation Parameter
(b) Control Parameter Revision
(c) Basic Parameter Revision
(d) Manual Operation
(e) Event Query
(f) Return To Operating Mode
(a)Observation Parameter Group (Apar):
Enter the interface to check some parameters which can’t be checked at operating mode, see “9 Parameters”.
At parameter mode: on the left of line 1 is Parameter No. (PAnn); on the right of line 1 is parameter value. Line 2 shows the remark of the parameter.
(b) Control Parameter Group (CPar):
Enter the interface to observe or revise the parameters which can be revised, see “9 Parameter”.
At parameter mode: on the left of line 1 is Parameter No. (PCnn), on the right of line 1 is parameter value. Line 2 shows the remark of the parameter.
(c) Basic Parameter Group (BPar):
Enter the interface to observe or revise the parameters which can be revised, see “9 Parameter”.
At parameter mode: on the left of line 1 is Parameter No. (PBnn), on the right of line 1 is parameter value. Line 2 shows the remark of the parameter.
(d) Manual Operation:
Enter the interface to select “Cool”, “Heater”, “Air”, “Initpar”, “Aoauto” to conduct manual start and stop operation.
(e) Event Query (Query):
Enter query mode.

Board Instruction:
The board is divided into four blocks: F1, F2, F3, F4 (F4 is on the back).
When using non-adjustable speed fans:
All the parts in F1 should not be welded;
Parts in F2 should be welded;
Resistance in F4 (RS01, RS02) should be welded; JP1, JP2 should be short circuit; JP3, JP4 should short circuit 1-2.
When using speed adjustable fans:
All the parts in F1 should be welded;
Parts in F2 should not be welded;
Parts in F4 should not be welded and should not be short circuit.
F3 should be considered only when connecting coil temperature. In general case, it doesn’t need to be considered and should not be welded.
Wiring Instruction:
1.JD1: 48V input;
2.JD2: 48V heating output;
3.JD3: fan control terminal
Speed adjustable fan wiring method:
1- 48V output, fan power supply;
2- C1 internal circulation fan control; 3- F1 internal circulation fan speed;
4- C2 external circulation fan control; 5- F2 external circulation fan speed;
6- 0V fan power supply grounding.
Non speed adjustable fan wiring method:
1, 6 ― not connected;
2, 3 ― connected with internal circulation fan (2+, 3-);
4, 5 ― connected with external circulation fan (4+, 5-);
4.JD4:
1, 2: hydrogen exhaust/direct ventilation control, dry contact, normal close output;
3, 4: dry contact output, normal open, system alarm output;
5, 6: dry contact output, normal open, cooling system alarm output.
5.JD5: compressor power supply: 1-L input; 2-N common; 3-L output.
6.JD6: DI input;
7.JD7: RS485 communication

9. Maintenance

In order to keep normal temperature environment inside the cabinet, please conduct maintenance according to the “Maintenance Table”.
Maintenance Steps:
(1)Turn off the power.
(2)Disconnect the power line, and disconnect the signal line.
(3)Conduct maintenance according to the “Maintenance Table”.
(4)Connect the power line and signal line.
(5)Operating testing program.
(6)Disconnect the power, restore the normal operating status.
(7)Connect the power.
(8)The equipment installation should reserve a maintenance space not less than 300mm.
