DDTE016 OUTDOOR INTEGRATED TELECOM ENCLOSURE



The DDTE016 Outdoor Integrated Telecom Enclosure is mainly used in wireless communication base station, such as 3G system, communication/network integrated service, access/transmission switching station, emergency communication/transmission, etc.

The cabinet, made of galvanized steel, is divided into equipment compartment and battery compartment. The right part of the cabinet is equipment compartment, which is separated from the battery compartment for heat insulation of the equipment space. The battery compartment is used for installing batteries. The cabinet body has heat insulation foam, which can keep the temperature inside the cabinet. The cabinet also has roofs which is sun proof and water proof. There’re ventilations for releasing harmful gas generated by the batteries.

The cabinet door uses embedded structure. The door opening angle is larger than 110°and the door limit device can limit the opening angle. The lock is theftproof three point lock. There’s open door alarm sensor, which works together with the environment monitoring unit.


1. Features


(1)The cabinet is dustproof, sunproof and rainproof, which is used in outdoor environment. The protection level is IP55.
(2)Three cooling options for the cabinet: fans, heat exchanger or air conditioner.
(3)-48V lamp is installed inside the cabinet.
(4)The cabinet is installed with Environment Monitoring Unit, door alarm, temperature and humidity sensor, smoke sensor, water sensor etc., which can work together to monitor the inside environment of the cabinet.
(5)The layout of the cabinet is reasonable, which will facilitate cable access, fixing and grounding. There’re entrance holes individually for power cable, signal cable and optical cable.
(6)All the cables used in the cabinet are made from flame retardant materials.


2. Cabinet Structure

2.1 Door and Door Limit

(1) Cabinet door options: vertical hinge door, horizontal hinge door.
(2) The door limit device can limit the door position when it is open.
(3) The door limit function is automatically activated when the door is open, and should be canceled manually when the door is closed.


(4) When the door is fully opened, the largest open angle is larger than 95°. If it is horizontal hinge door, it can prevent outside water from flowing into the equipment compartment from the upper side. The bottom edge of the door limit device is higher than the hinge level, which can offer enough operating space.

(5) After 1000 times open and close operation, the door and door device will have good function and have no excessive wear and tear.
(6) At the door limit status, the door limit device can bear the static load by door opening and closing at 22m/s wind, without mechanical failure and function failure.


2.2 Grounding


The cabinet include grounding copper bar, 4mm thick, with 10×M6 flare-in nuts, 2×M8 flare-in nuts, 2×M10 flare-in nuts. The grounding bar is nickel plated. The screw is made from copper bar and with passivation surface treatment.

3. Electrical Technical Parameters

3.1 Monitoring System Diagram and Solution


Monitoring alarm


The monitoring unit conducts real time monitoring on smoke, water, door opening, LED lamp, temperature and humidity inside each compartment through various sensors. It is with alarm output, and can transmit alarm signals to Local Area Network or remote monitoring platform through RS485/RS232, Ethernet etc.


Monitoring Unit Diagram

The monitoring unit uses dual core processing. the power supply uses DC/DC module. The measuring channel, power supply, and communication interfaces are electrically isolated, so the monitoring unit has high reliability . The MCU control design has functions of self management and self correction. The monitoring unit support RS485/RS232 communication method. With the communication interfaces, it can realize many kinds of communication modes, such as point to point communication, point to multipoint communication, wireless remote communication, which can meet the need of various system networks.


3.2 Monitoring and Alarm


The monitoring unit conducts the following monitoring and alarm for the cabinet: door alarm, power failure alarm, smoke alarm, water alarm, temperature and humidity detection and alarm, shock and tilt alarm, etc.


(1)Door alarm

There are two door switches. The one near the top of the cabinet is used for control the on/off of LED lamp, and the other one detects the opening and closing of the cabinet door. When the door is open, the door switch closes, and the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center through RS485/RS232. Meanwhile, there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL6, AL7). It will close in abnormal situation.


(2)Power failure alarm

The port “AC220V” on the monitoring unit is for utility power detecting input. In case of utility power failure, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm signal to the control center through RS485/RS232, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL8, AL9). It will close in abnormal situation.


(3)Smoke alarm

The port “S” on the monitoring unit is for smoke sensor detecting input. When smoke is detected, the red light on the smoke sensor turn bright, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL2, AL3). It will close in abnormal situation.


(4)Water alarm

The port “w+. w-” on the monitoring unit is for water sensor detecting input. When water is detected inside the cabinet, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL4, AL5). It will close in abnormal situation.


(5)Temperature and humidity detection and alarm

The port “5V, T1, H1, GND” on the monitoring unit is for temperature and humidity sensor of battery compartment detecting input, and port “5V, T2(or T3), H2(or H3), GND” is for temperature and humidity sensor of equipment compartment detecting input. The monitoring unit can conduct real time detecting on temperature and humidity inside the compartment. When temperature and humidity sensor send out alarm signal, the monitoring unit will transmit the alarm signal to the control center, and there is correlative alarm dry contact output (port AL0, AL1). It will close in abnormal situation.

(2) Function:

(2)Function:

When burning or smoke happens inside the cabinet, the sensor will send out alarm signal, and transmit the alarm signal to the monitoring center in switching mode.

4. Protection


The cabinet is corrosion proof, water proof, dust proof, condensation proof, wind proof, lightening proof. The protection level is IP55.


5. Lighting and other specs

(1) The working voltage of the lamp is -48VDC or 220VAC.
(2) LED lamp can turn on or turn off intelligently. When the cabinet door is open, the LED will turn on automatically. When the cabinet door is closed, the LED will turn off automatically.
Displacement sensor for detecting cabinet door. When the door is open, it pops up and at close circuit situation.


(3) The cabinet includes 220V power socket.
(4) The MDF compartment and equipment compartment have document holders.
(5) The service life of the cabinet sealing strip is longer than 10 years, and is easy for replacement.
